This color image is of an old Japanese farmer facing us with a thoughtful look. 
 Behind him is a traditional Japanese screen called a shoji.
  An eerie shadow is in the shoji, that of a fox-woman carrying a lantern on a pole. The Fox Lantern (Kitsune no Cho-chin)

The Pink Dress This color image is of a family within the barracks of an Internment camp.  The sister is displaying her pink dress, to the amazement of everyone else, especially the little girl on the far left, Tsuki.
